Dear TJ,

Un-please. Honestly, I don’t know how you come up with these things sometimes. We were cuddling on the couch before you went up for your bath, and you started going a little crazy. You know, in that way you start shaking your head as fast as you can, half-breakdancing sort of thing. Since it was time to calm down, I gave you a big hug… and I didn’t let go.

You tried to break out of the hug, ordering me to let you go. Finally, when you said, “Mommy, let go of me please,” I let you go. Since you used the magic word. Then you realized that this was a fun game, and you said, “Unplease!” And you put my arms back down around you. We did the please and unplease thing a few times before my arms got tired.

I’m still chuckling about it.

Love,
Mommy
