Dear TJ,

It’s great to see you playing with your cousin Avery now that Uncle Joe and Aunt Meghan were finally able to made it up to visit. You refer to her as “Baby Avery” every time you say her name it’s very cute.

You’ve taken to the role of older cousin quite well, trying to explain things to her and getting her to mimic what you do. She can’t say your name, but she keeps pointing to you and saying, “Pretty!” Which means she likes you.

We had dinner with everyone at Grandma Debbie’s house last night. Uncle Joe and Aunt Meghan put her to bed before we left, and you could hear her crying over the baby monitor. You started trying to talk into the baby monitor to calm her down. “Don’t worry, Baby Avery,” you said. “I’ll be back to visit you tomorrow.” It was so sweet.

Love,
Mommy
