Dear Kid Saturday – Going Bowling

Dear TJ,

We’re going bowling for the first time when Daddy gets home from work today. You were invited to a bowling birthday party for one of your friends from school next week, so we figured we should teach you how to bowl before that.

I’ve already explained to you about wearing special bowling shoes, and you were a bit concerned that you wouldn’t get your sneakers back. I explained that we will definitely get your sneakers back, so you don’t have to worry about that.

You also seem to think that bowling at the bowling alley will be just like bowling on the computer at Grandma Kitty’s house. You keep arguing with me about it, but you’ll see soon enough. I told you that the bowling balls have holes in them, and you think that’s ridiculous. Can’t wait to see how this goes!
