Dear TJ,

You are exceptionally cute this morning. One of the first things you decided to do when you got downstairs was to get out your giant Diego puzzle. My first instinct was to get down on the floor and start helping you with it, but I decided to let you try and figure it out yourself.

You didn’t get any of the puzzle pieces together properly, but you decided that one piece was shaped like an elephant. The fact that it was actually a piece of Baby Jaguar’s ear didn’t matter. You thought it looked like an elephant, and you let out a big belly laugh when I made an elephant noise.

Then you decided to fly the “elephant” around the room as if it were one of your toy airplanes. It was so funny. You’ve never even heard of Dumbo!

After the excitement of the flying elephant wore off, you decided that you wanted me to hold onto three of your bouncy balls. I tried to set them down, but you were determined that I should keep them in my hand. When I hid them in my sweatshirt, you thought it made a great magic trick. I’d made them disappear! It took a few times of making them disappear and reappear before you figured out where they’d gone, but once you did, you decided to perform the magic trick yourself. Of course, you just shoved them up your shirt instead of turning up the hem of your shirt like I did, but it was still incrdibly cute to watch.

Let’s hope the cuteness continues today!

Love,
Mommy

  1. Hi – great entry – I love the cute days too – and wish they would overwhelm the aweful ones….Dumbo is a pretty tedious film for little kids – they just don’t get alot of it.. which is a pity.
