Breyers YoCrunch 100 Calorie Pack Review and Giveaway

I was contacted to try some of the new Breyers YoCrunch 100 Calorie Pack yogurt, and I received a sample in the mail. I had thought we’d be getting coupons to pick up the yogurt for free at the grocery store, but instead I got a box packed with ice packs and a four-pack of yogurt inside! (I guess they weren’t able to accommodate my request to try all of the flavors and throw a little yogurt party with friends due to their method of delivery.)

Breyers YoCrunch 100 Calorie Packs come in five different flavors:

• Vanilla with Nestle Crunch
• Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Cookie
• Cheesecake with Graham Cracker
• Strawberry with Low Fat Granola
• Vanilla with Chocolate Cookie

I tried the vanilla flavor with the chocolate chip cookie crumbles to mix in and provide the crunch. While I did enjoy it, I did find myself wanting more of the cookie crumbs, as vanilla yogurt is not my favorite – I prefer creamy strawberry or banana. Though I suppose it wouldn’t be a 100 calorie pack if they did that! But I did find it satisfied my sweet tooth enough to keep me from diving into the Easter candy stash, so it certainly did the trick.

I think I’d be interested in trying the Nestle Crunch and Oreo chocolate cookie varieties sometime. I’ve packed on a few pounds since Christmas, and I can’t stay away from chocolate… but something like yogurt with candy in it just might trick my brain into thinking I don’t need a high calorie, high fat snack. And I’d like to lose this annoying 5-10 pounds before BlogHer in August. So I’d better get on that!
