The Dream Kitchen Suite from Best Buy I Had to Walk Away From (Sponsored)

I wasn’t only liveblogging sessions at the Type-A Parent Conference in Atlanta earlier this month. I also had a chance to interact with the conference sponsors and other brands, and Best Buy allowed us to sign up for a sponsored campaign right then and there. The LG Studio Kitchen Suite at Best Buy was set up for us at the conference hotel, and it was gorgeous. It was like one of those dream kitchens you see on TV and know you can never afford. (Maybe if that novel gets picked up by a good publisher next year, or if we go indie and have a ton of sales that way…) I mean, look at this:

It’s certainly far bolder and more stylish than my sad little kitchen here at home. Of course, LG Studio Artistic Advisor Nate Berkus didn’t advise the people who built my house in aesthetics and performance. (Then again, my house was built in 1985 by a developer who didn’t really care about design and function!) When I toured the kitchen suite at the conference, my favorite thing was the refrigerator. I mean, honestly, it has a French door, 10 temperature sensors, 2 crispers, a water filtration system (we have lead in our water), and so much more. If I could have just one piece from the kitchen suite, it would be the refrigerator. I wouldn’t say no to the microwave, oven, and dishwasher though! Then I could have a matching state-of-the-art stainless steel kitchen from the LG Studio Line at Best Buy. Who wouldn’t want that? I mean look at it:

Sigh. Looking back at my camera roll on my phone, I realize I was never able to get a good picture of the suite because it was very crowded, and I never made it back because it only got more crowded when they started the cooking demos with some local celebrity chefs.
