I’m watching my son dance to the beat of the music on Noggin. He’s such a big boy. I know he’ll always be my baby, but when does the rest of the world revoke his baby status?

Bigger kids (ages 3-5) we encounter in public still say, “Look at the baby!” So I think it’s still safe to call him a baby. But as the blogger of Cutest Baby Ever, I have to wonder whether I’m stretching it out too much. BabiesOnline.com allows children to be entered into their Baby Photo Contest until the age of three. Are they still babies until three? Or should we be trading in “baby” for “toddler” around the age of two, and trade “toddler” in for “preschooler” at age of three?

I may slowly start transitioning to Cutest Kid Ever, a site I haven’t quite developed yet.

Please comment to let me know when you think children are no longer babies.
