TJ has been used to having me home all day, every day. When he used to stay with his grandma for the day so I could get some work done around the house, I’d be home when Daddy brought him home on his way home from work.

This week was different. I wasn’t home when Daddy brought him home. So when I did get there, my two guys were standing at the door, waiting for me.

“MOMMY’S HOME!”

I got the biggest “Welcome home, Mommy!” hug when I opened the door. And a kiss on the lips!

I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder!
