Dear TJ,
I had to explain a new expression to you today. I use it often enough, though usually not in front of you. When I get really frustrated with you, you see, sometimes I just want to throw you through the wall. When you were being bold and talking back this morning, I said this to you. You said you didn’t think that would be a good idea because it “wouldn’t feel so good.”
So I explained to you that it was an expression, and that I would never actually throw you through a wall because I wouldn’t want to hurt you. But sometimes, I think about it…
You’ve had that kind of a day. I was happy that Daddy wasn’t working today, because then you didn’t have to go grocery shopping with me. I didn’t think I could take the aggravation of making my way through the sea of inconsiderate people and putting up with your bold behavior.
I do love you very much, but sometimes you really push my buttons.
Love,
Mommy
Wanna play? Here’s how to participate in Dear Kid Saturday:
1. Write your own Dear Kid letter on your blog.
2. Sign the MckLinky below with your name or blog name and the link to your Dear Kid post – the specific post URL, not the homepage of your blog.
3. Grab a Dear Kid Saturday button for your post and/or your sidebar.
I think we all have those push your button moments. Glad that we were able to have an evening out away from the kiddos together.
