Dear TJ,
I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but you seem to be getting more fun to play with now. I mean, when you were younger, even a few months ago, playing with you could sometimes seem like a chore. But now that you’re maturing, you’re actually getting to be pretty cool to hang out with. We can have actual conversations, and sometimes we want to do the same things.
I love watching you lie on the floor with Daddy while he plays The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. He reads you the dialogue as he’s playing, and it’s like watching a movie or reading a book with you. You whisper “wow” in appropriate places.
Playing Chutes and Ladders with you is pretty cool, too. I can’t wait until we can play things like Sorry and Yahtzee with you, too.
You’re maturing so much now, little man. Ms. Maryellen was right when she told us that February, March, and April were magical for her four-year-old classes every year. You’re making so much progress!
Love,
Mommy
