Dearest Son of Mine,
I know you and I work on different internal clocks, but it was really hard to find you as cute as you should’ve been at 7:30 this morning when you came into our room saying, “It’s a beautiful day! C’mon!”
Just because the sun is up, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s time to get up out of bed. I told you this, but you couldn’t be swayed.
“Come on, Mommy! You can do it!”
Way too early on the weekend for you to be my little cheerleader.
Now that I’m downstairs, though, I had a little more appreciation for your cuteness when I gave you some apple juice after you told me you were thirsty. You drank it and told me you thought the frogs in your throat were gone.
Can we just postpone getting up for the morning until 8:00 next Saturday? You’ll be far cuter then.
