Dear TJ,

Grandma Kitty went on vacation this week. She went to Cape Cod with her friend Judy. That left you and me more than usual. If I didn’t have to work, it would have been awesome. Since I did have to get work done, it was a struggle. Thankfully, Grandma Debbie helped out by watching you for a few hours on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday was a rough day for me getting work done, but you weren’t misbehaving too much.

Yesterday was a different story. You spent most of yesterday with Grandma Debbie, but I met you guys for lunch at Cracker Barrel. You were a beast. You’ve been getting up too early all week long, and you’ve been missing Grandma Kitty. You had more meltdowns at lunch yesterday than you did during any other single day this week. And you’ve had more than your fair share of meltdowns this week.

I know change is hard for you, but you’ve been getting on my last nerve. I’m so grateful that Grandma Kitty came home last night and that you got to see her. Hopefully we’ll be able to get back to normal now!

Love,
Mommy
