Guess who’s going to the Type-A Mom Conference  in Asheville, North Carolina again this year… Me! (I know. That’s wasn’t exactly hard, seeing how this is my blog and all.) The 2010 Type-A Mom Conference is being held at the Asheville Renaissance hotel from September 24-26. I was the first person to register and buy my ticket to the event. Can you tell how excited I am to go back?

By the way, if you use my link to register for the Type-A Mom Conference, I earn a 10% commission. It’s just a matter of using my link instead of the generic link… so why not help a mom out?

I’m still waiting to hear back from organizer Kelby Carr about my speaker proposal. I’d really like to be a part of a panel about blogging with (not necessarily about) chronic illnesses. If you think you’d like to sit in on that conference session, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to tweet Kelby and let her know you’re interested. I believe I asked @ConnieFoggles to be on the panel with me, should it come to fruition.

I’m looking for conference sponsorship, and I wrote up a proposal for companies on MomReach. MomReach is another on of Kelby Carr’s projects. It allows bloggers and companies to work together on gift guides, product reviews, contest prizes, conference sponsorships, and paid gigs – among other things.

Will you be attending the Type-A Mom Conference this year? Let me know! (And let me know if you use my affiliate link, so I can thank you!) I hope I get a chance to get my Guitar Hero on again this year. Best unofficial after-hours event ever!
