I got a phone call from Bonnie at the county offices. She’d gotten TJ’s results from his blood draw two days ago, and his lead level is now 2.6! That’s down from the level of 12.3 he had three months ago.

The good news is that we can keep doing what we’re doing, because it’s working! The water filter worked wonders. I don’t know if his vitamins with iron helped contribute to this success, but I don’t see any reason to stop giving them to him. He actually asks for his vitamins at bedtime!

He needs to be tested one more time in three months. If his level remains below 10, he’ll be out of the county’s lead program. My fingers are crossed for a negligible amount!
