Just Dance Disney Party

Don’t tell TJ…but he’s getting Just Dance: Disney Party for Christmas. And after he gets it, don’t tell him that it’s just as much for me as it is for him. I mean, I tried out Just Dance 4 as a part of the UbiChamps program, and I really enjoy it. The only problem is that it’s really intense for someone with my physical limitations, so when I saw that UbiChamps was looking for people to review Just Dance Disney Party for the Nintendo Wii, I knew I needed to do it. I mean, if it’s geared for kids, it’s gotta be a little easier, right?

My Favorite Just Dance Disney Party Tracks

Bippidi Boppidi Boo

I did a little searching online to find out how difficult each of the songs were, and I discovered that the Fairy Godmother’s song from Cinderella was rated easiest in both difficulty and effort required. We have a winner! I was not disappointed. The dance was fairly easy for me to follow, and while I did get my heart rate and respirations up by the end of it, I was not so winded I could barely speak. The biggest problem I saw with Bippidi Boppidi Boo is that the song gets stuck in my head…for days at a time!

That’s How You Know

This was actually the first track I tried dancing to when the package arrived, because Enchanted may just be my favorite Disney movie of all time. The dance itself was really tricky for me, and I find myself being very tired after it was done. But it’s the whole song from the movie, minus the incidental spoken words, and the choreography does incorporate some of Giselle’s movements from the movie. I also enjoyed how there were “backup dancers” who joined in, just like in the movie. I’d really like to build up my stamina so I can dance to this track more often, just because it’s so much fun to watch!

Just Dance with Your Kids!

I got such a kick out of Just Dance: Disney Party. There are plenty of duo and trio dance tracks so your family can play together. And with winter break coming up from school it’s also helpful to know that there are different modes of game play- Team High Scores, Freeze & Shake, Balloon Pop – so even the little ones can enjoy the fun… AND there’s an option to put all the songs on random shuffle and just keep playing. Which is a great idea for bad weather days when the whole family is home but stuck inside the house. Let them dance themselves so tired they can’t complain about being bored anymore!
