I Wear Pink for #AmandasArmy

Everyone knows that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and everything out there is turning pink. Polyvore is running a site-wide design contest in honor of the occasion, and this was my entry. (Ahoy, there be affiliate links below!)

I Wear Pink for #AmandasArmy

A friend and fellow blogger, Amanda Henson, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier in 2014. #AmandasArmy was formed to support Amanda and her family through this despicable disease. Amanda is kicking cancer’s ass!

The Open Hearts necklace is available from Studio Jewel, where $20 from the sale of each necklace goes directly to Amanda and her family.

This also goes out to every woman and every family who has been touched by breast cancer – and all cancers, for that matter. Do your self-exams. Visit your doctor(s) regularly. Get checked out. Follow up.

That’s me: Christina Gleason. I’m a professional copywriter, editor, and blogger. My company is called Phenomenal Content. (Hire me!) I’m a relatively high-functioning Aspie who also lives with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. I am not ashamed to admit that I am in the care of a psychiatrist, who assures me that people in therapy are often better adjusted than “normal” people who are not, because at least we know what our issues are and are working on them. I’m a geek for grammar, fantasy, and select types of gaming, including World of Warcraft and Empire: Four Kingdoms. I hate vegetables. I have an intense phone phobia, so I’ll happily conduct business over email or IM instead.
