After my Easter flowers review last month, I was asked to review personalized Easter baskets. We’ve been using the same Easter basket since TJ was a baby, just filling it with different items each year as he grows. It was a treat to be able to shop for a new basket on someone else’s dime in exchange for sharing my experience with you.
Ordering from the Personal Creations Website
For my review, I was given a gift card code and asked to shop from the Easter specials at Personal Creations. It didn’t take me long to select the Sock Monkey Easter Bunny Basket. At the time I placed my order, the basket came filled with candy. As I type this up, you can now order the candy separately. Because I had already created an account with Shari’s Berries and ProFlowers, all of my shipping and billing information was saved with my login, making it really easy to check out. I did have to decide whether to have the basket personalized with “TJ” or “T.J.” You’ll see what I picked below…
Show Me the Sock Monkey
I had to hide the package as soon as I got it, because I couldn’t let TJ know that the Easter Bunny isn’t a real thing. For this reason, I have to apologize for the lighting in the pictures, because I had to take them at night after he was in bed, and my indoor pictures always suffer when there isn’t sunlight.
Everything was packed in plastic when I opened the cardboard box, so I had to dispose of several bags. The candy is all in separate bags, but I’m not going to take all of that out until the night before Easter so it stays fresher. The basket and the sock monkey are absolutely adorable, but I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves…
So cute, right? I have to be honest; I’m going to be replacing the chocolate bunny with a different one. My mom was shopping with TJ a week or two ago, and he told her he really hoped the Easter Bunny would bring him one of those chocolate bunnies with the “too tall” ears sticking out of the top of the box. So I had to get him one. This bunny will find a good home in someone else’s stomach, so don’t you worry about that.
I like how both the basket and the sock monkey have TJ’s name on them. The ears on the basket are poseable, too, but the ears on the sock monkey are not.
If you’re still in need of a super cute Easter basket, be sure to place your order right away… the basket needs to be personalized, so it doesn’t ship immediately. I highly recommend visiting the Personal Creations coupon codes page before ordering and upgrading your shipping!
