Thursday 13

I love my husband. Tom is the perfect husband for me. We’re coming up on our 9th wedding anniversary this October, but today is our 11th anniversary of being together. I thought I’d commemorate the occasion by telling the world what I love so much about him.

  1. The way he looks at me.
  2. How he is always helpful and supportive of me, even when my anxiety, pain, and fatigue are at their worst.
  3. How awesome he’s been since I lost my job and started my own business. He’s been my support and my cheerleader.
  4. The fact that he agreed to always do the dishes as long as I always do the laundry. It was practically in our wedding vows. I really hate washing dishes.
  5. He’s an awesome cook, and always willing to make dinner when he gets home from work.
  6. He doesn’t take things personally when I snap at him due to anxiety. He accepts my apologies once I’m back in my right mind.
  7. I love his eyes.
  8. He’s my big teddy bear.
  9. He always tells me how beautiful I am in his eyes, even when I don’t agree.
  10. He’s a great dad who loves to be involved in TJ’s life.
  11. Even when he’s tired, he’ll try to give me a massage or back rub when I’m in pain.
  12. Er… ahem. Yeah, that too. You know what I mean.
  13. It’s inexplicable. I love him, and I don’t need to have a reason why. I just do!

The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others’ comments. It’s easy, and fun!
