Last year was known as the “Year of the Recall” because record-breaking numbers of dangerous products — many of them children’s toys — made their way into U.S. homes. I’ve taken action to ask Congress for tougher laws that will keep us safer.

I know you care about health and safety, so I thought you might be interested in taking a few minutes now to make a difference. Congress is working to finalize the Consumer Product Safety Reform Act, but the manufacturing industry and its army of lobbyists are trying to kill consumer-friendly measures that could save many lives — like lower allowable lead in toys, and protections for employees who blow the whistle when the law is broken and dangerous products are sold.

But you can help! Please take action here — Public Citizen makes it fast and easy!

Thanks!
