Tenderness and Passion Massage Kit Review and Giveaway

I have to say, I’m a big fan of Eden Fantasys for letting me review some of their tamer items on my blog. But even so, if you are even remotely related to me, this is time for you to stop reading. (This means you, Gene and Kitty. And Josh.) The massage kit I’m reviewing here could certainly be advertised on daytime television if it weren’t for the product packaging, but let’s just let you make the exit now.

Tenderness & Passion Collection Review

This image shows you all of the nifty little things inside the box, but the box itself may be enough to make women with delicate sensibilities blush. I’m not talking the box it’s shipped in – which is very discreet – but the box the product comes in. It’s a nice sturdy black both with SHUNGA erotic art on the cover. I don’t personally find it very, um, erotic, but it is a painting of a Japanese (?) couple having a… moment together. Her robe covers the unmentionables, but their faces are quite expressive. You can kinda see their faces in the picture above. So if your kids like to snoop in your drawers, you may want to ditch the box and find something a little tamer to store the goodies in! 

I chose this massage kit specifically for the massage oil. (Pictured on the far right.) My back, neck, and shoulders often hurt. Tom is nice enough to rub them for me from time to time, along with my feet. Massage lotions and cremes don’t seem to work as well as oils do. According to him, my skin is very thirsty. The bottle of massage oil is labeled ROMANCE, and it smells heavenly. I could just sit and smell it all day long. Seriously. I’ve had some of my best husband-powered back rubs using this massage oil, and the scent of strawberries and champagne adds a nice touch of aromatherapy. 

Here’s the part I didn’t want my family to read. The scent of the massage oil is so yummy that it really does get me in the mood. Which leads me to the aphrodisiac oil labeled “intimate kisses,” pictured on the far left. It has the same delicious scent as the massage oil, but it’s not exactly massage oil. It’s a lubricant that can also be used to… properly motivate a husband who isn’t quite as ready as you are. Seriously. The aphrodisiac oil didn’t do much for me personally, but (my husband is going to kill me for this) it did provide him some… inspiration rather quickly. (When I use the word inspiration, I have the scene from the beginning of Moulin Rouge with Satine and Christian up in her elephant dressing room in my head. “This inspire you?”) 

Anyways. 

The box also contains “sweet snow” body powder. I must admit that we haven’t yet used this as intended, but I did dip my finger into the powder to taste it. It’s a fair approximation of what the scent might taste like, but mostly it tastes powdery to me. I suppose it would add a nice hint of sweetness when applied to your partner’s neck (or wherever) and tasted liberally. 

Also included is a small handmade feather tickler. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always liked to have my back tickled. It can work well in a completely innocent way, although under the proper circumstances it could certainly lead to less innocent activities. Since it tickles bare skin far better than clothed skin, I would guess that it turns less innocent more often than not. 😉 

I think I’ve used up my daily allotment of euphemisms now.
