Swap a Sandwich to Feed America

Every so often, you get a great pitch that not only allows you to enter a great contest, but you get to do something good in the process! Hellmann’s and Billy Ray Cyrus are teaming up to raise money for Feeding America with the virtual Sandwich Swap ‘n’ Share program on Facebook.

By building virtual sandwiches on Hellmann’s Facebook Sandwich Swap app, you’re donating lunches to Feeding America, a fantastic domestic hunger relief charity! For every sandwich that is created, Hellmann’s is donating seven lunches to Feeding America. For every Facebook friend you share your sandwiches with, Hellmann’s is donating another seven lunches to Feeding America!

What can you get out of it? By sharing your sandwiches on the Sandwich Swap, you get entered into a contest to win a $250 grocery store gift card. (I could certainly use that!) You also get the warm, fuzzy feeling of knowing that you’ve helped feed some hungry Americans! On top of that… the Sandwich Swap app is a whole lot of fun. I made six sandwiches in the first 20 minutes after I learned about it! (That’s 70 lunches donated to Feeding America in just 20 minutes!)
