What is our ultimate family vacation?

I didn’t have to think too hard when I was asked what our ultimate family vacation would be. We’re trying to make it happen next year. Ever since TJ was born, my family has talked about taking a big trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Oh sure, I got to take Tom and TJ with me to the Disney Social Media Moms conference this past February, but when I say family, it includes a lot more than the three of us.

When you may see me tweet about going out to lunch with my family, it involves a lot of people. Ideally, our family trip to Disney World would include the three of us; my parents; my brother Josh; my brother Joe, his wife, and daughter; my grandma; Tom’s mom; Tom’s dad and stepmom; and Tom’s brother Sean, his wife, and their son. That’s a lot of people! I don’t think we’re all actually going to be able to make it on the trip next year, but it would be awesome if everyone could come.

We’d spend at least one day in each of the parks, and the grandparents would get some alone time with the grandkids once or twice to give us parents some time to do more than the kiddie rides. We’d do a character breakfast and maybe hit the Hoop-De-Doo Revue, which I remember doing as a kid.

Oh, and we’d be doing this all during the week of TJ’s birthday, which he’d get to celebrate at the Parks.

Doesn’t that sound wonderful?

Don’t forget to enter the “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, for a chance to win your own ultimate family vacation. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
