Thanks to Family Arches, I got my hands on a fistful of coupons for the new McDonald’s CBO. That’s Cheddar, Bacon, and Onion on either an Angus Third Pounder burger or a Premium Chicken Sandwich. Since we decided that dining out was no longer in the family budget, a few free sandwiches made for a nice treat. I tried the Chicken CBO and Tom tried the Angus burger CBO.
Stupidly, we forgot to trade bites.
But our taste buds were very, very happy with our respective sandwiches. I mean, how can you go wrong with cheddar cheese, bacon, and grilled onions? (All of you folks that don’t eat fast food just hush!) Tom’s CBO was probably as close to the burgers he makes at home as you can ever get from a fast food place. I could’ve gotten my CBO with grilled or crispy chicken… I opted for the fried variety because I was having a bad day. Totally worth the calories, in my opinion. The box informed me that the bun was made with whole grain flour… That balances out the bad stuff, right? In any case, we don’t go to McDonald’s when we want a healthy, nutritious meal.
Some of the coupons are being given to friends and family, but I’m giving the rest away to some lucky readers!
How to Enter the McDonald’s CBO Giveaway
I’m going to make this really easy. I’m picking THREE (3) winners to each receive two (2) coupons for a free CBO from McDonald’s. The coupons expire on December 31, 2012. Rafflecopter will tell you everything you need to know about entering. Enjoy!
I’m a burger girl. I’m picky about my chicken and how it’s prepared…. but I can’t wait to try this!
It’s hard to say — fried chicken is almost always better than a burger, but I can see cheddar cheese tasting better on a burger. Eh… I guess I’ll say chicken. (Or just get one of each and cut them in half.)
BURGER
Gotta be the burger.
