Dear TJ,
You weren’t very happy that I was out all morning and part of the afternoon yesterday. As a matter of fact, you almost cried when I told you that you couldn’t come with me. But you seemed to accept it when I explained to you that I was going to talk to Santa about what you want for Christmas. I’m sorry it took me so long, but there are a lot of other moms and dads who go out and talk to Santa on the day after Thanksgiving, too, and I had to wait my turn.
I let you know that Santa said he would definitely be able to bring you the gumball machine and Star Wars LEGOs you asked for as long as you continue to be a good boy. He said it might be hard to find the Batman LEGOs you want, but that if you’re an extra good boy, he’ll have his elves look extra hard to find some.
I had to ask you what kind of Batman LEGOs you really wanted, so that the elves are looking for the right thing. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to be able to build with Batman LEGOs or if you wanted to play with the characters. You told me that you wanted the Batman characters and the Star Wars characters so you could play with them together. I passed that along to the elves when I talked to them last night, and they said that it will be much easier for them to find what you’re looking for now.
Love,
Mommy
