BlogHer ’10 is going to be in New York City. Guess who just bought her ticket. That’s right, me! So yes, I’m quite content to be home with my family this year, but next year’s conference is practically in my backyard… so maybe we can make it a family event next year!
I’m most excited to meet more of the wonderful and friendly bloggers I’ve met in the last year. I mean, I’ve been doing this blog since TJ was an infant – and he turns four next month – but it’s only been since last summer and fall that I really got into the mommy blogger community. (And the blogger community at large, with those who aren’t mommy bloggers.) So many great people, and we’ve never met in person! Some of that will change at Type-A Mom Con this September, but there are still so many more people who can’t make it then, either. (Note: I make a commission if you sign up for the Type-A Mom conference through that link, but that’s cool with you, right?)
I’m new to the whole blog conference circuit. My trial by fire is going to be speaking at Blogsville in October, but it’s the beginning of a great journey, I think!
How exciting! Good luck to you in Blogsville!
I was also beyond thrilled that BlogHer is going to be so close next year. My hubby said he may to go since he blogs. The best thing is last night my parents said they would watch the boys for that weekend if we want. I was floored that my mother actually tole me to get my tickets and hotel room already. Will do that ASAP, but need to figure out if TechyDad is going too.
That’s so exciting! I hope to see you there. 🙂
How is it that I’ve been blogging for 4 years and have never heard of a conference other than BlogHer? Going to have to check out the other ones you mentioned!
